Nick Bazaldua grew up in Desoto and was baptized at the Ovilla Church of Christ in 2007. He and his wife Rebecca started dating their sophomore year of high school and were married in 2007. Nick first went to the University of North Texas where he played football for three years while receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He then changed directions and went on to receive his Bachelor’s of Nursing at Texas Woman’s University, Master’s in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Texas at Tyler, and his Doctor of Nursing Practice in Anesthesia from Texas Christian University. He is now a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Waxahachie.

He enjoys spending time with his children: Ava, Olivia and Aiden, and coaching youth football and basketball.

Nick’s favorite verse is Romans 8:28, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.”
